Pete has been with The Malt Shop Cruise from its start. The process of scheduling and advancing are completed well before we leave port, with many variables determining the placement of musicians around the ship. The Coda Band’s musicians prepare well in advance so that long, complicated rehearsals or sound checks aren’t needed, which isn’t feasible on the ship. The Coda band’s main goal once they are aboard is to give the artists ease of mind to perform at their best, which translates into the consistent top-notch performances the Malt Shop Cruise is known for.

Pete Mastropaolo established The Coda Band over 25 years ago, in response to the resurgence of Oldies/Rock & Roll concerts where singers required back-up bands. He is also the sole proprietor of Coda Productions, where he does production for other live music events.
