AMERICAN IDOL WINNER RUBEN STUDDARD PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE LEGENDARY LUTHER VANDROSS IN AN EVENING FULL OF CLASSIC HIT SONGS.

Imagine… going to a Luther Vandross concert

Imagine… hearing the sounds of the overture and Luther’s entrance

Imagine… a Luther live concert recreated today with a voice that truly pays homage to this magnificent artist.

No other voice can match the one and only Luther Vandross – but Ruben Studdard, the Grammy nominated, R&B, gospel and pop singer comes closest in capturing Luther’s magic and soul in this remarkable new show.

In his hometown of Birmingham, Ruben grew up with the world’s biggest Luther fan, his Mom – who always loved Luther and played his music in their home continuously, especially during Christmas. In his young teens, he would perform Luther songs at weddings and people would keep requesting more of his hits.

He recorded ‘Superstar’ and during his infamous American Idol run, he was touted as the next “Luther”. “Ruben Sings Luther” is a natural evolution – combining beautiful production elements, musicians, background singers, wardrobe and lighting that were ever present in Luther’s stage show.

Ruben’s goal is to not only to pay tribute to Luther, but to add his own passion on top of the timeless hit songs. His heart and soul are in every note as he honors one of the greatest vocalists ever.

An extraordinary concert event for Ruben fans and millions of Luther fans who long for his music. It’s a magical night out with unforgettable hits and the closest thing to a Luther Vandross concert.
