Oakland native and ultimate soul crooner Lenny Williams possesses one of the most distinctive, enduring voices in contemporary R&B. As the powerhouse lead vocalist for Tower of Power, he defined an era with timeless hits like “So Very Hard to Go” and “What Is Hip?,” later crossing over to the charts alongside saxophonist Kenny G on the smash ballad “Don’t Make Me Wait for Love.”

As a solo artist, Williams cemented his icon status with his signature classic, “Cause I Love You”; an evergreen anthem whose legendary vocal breakdown continues to bridge generations and inspire hip-hop sampling worldwide. Today, Lenny remains as commanding and vibrant as ever; his new single, “Chicken Neck,” is available across all major digital streaming platforms.
