Buddy Miller
Buddy Miller is an award winning guitarist, songwriter, singer, record and music producer. He’s produced records for Robert Plant, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, Solomon Burke, Richard Thompson, The Wood Brothers, The Devil Makes Three, Ralph Stanley, The McCrary Sisters and The Carolina Chocolate Drops. Miller has released nine studio albums of his own, both as a solo artist and with collaborators including his wife, singer-songwriter Julie Miller. For his latest release, Buddy Miller & Friends: Cayamo Sessions at Sea, Miller enlisted some of his talented pals to record with him in the Bliss Lounge while at sea during Cayamo 2014 and 2015. He has toured with the likes of Harris, Steve Earle, Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Plant and Allison Krauss. Miller has a weekly radio show with Jim Lauderdale on SiriusXM Outlaw Country, is the musical director and band leader of the annual Americana Music Associations Honors & Awards show, and was the Executive Music Producer for the ABC hit TV show “Nashville” for three seasons. Buddy is a Cayamo veteran and his saltiness factor is 60.
